This Privacy Policy explains what information Cosette AI (“Cosette AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects through cosette.app (https://cosette.app) and our SMS text messaging program, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at cosette@cosette.app.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you fill out a form on this site, including our SMS Consent & Opt-In form or contact form, we collect the information you choose to submit. This typically includes your name, email address, mobile phone number, the contents of your message, and a record of your SMS consent (the date, time, and method by which you opted in).

SMS messaging data. When you opt in to receive text messages from Cosette AI, we collect your mobile phone number, your opt-in and opt-out status, and records of the messages we send to you and any replies you send (such as STOP or HELP).

Information collected automatically. This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use it. GA4 collects standard usage data such as the pages you view, time spent on the site, approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and the referring site or search. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Send the SMS messages you have consented to receive, such as transactional notifications, alerts, and account or service updates.
  • Process opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP) requests and keep a record of your consent preferences.
  • Respond to contact form messages and any related follow up.
  • Understand which content is useful so we can improve the site.
  • Keep the site and our messaging program secure and functioning properly, and comply with legal obligations.

SMS messaging and your mobile information

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, and text messaging originator opt-in data collected through our SMS program will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only exception is the service providers that help us deliver messages (such as our SMS platform provider, Twilio), who process this information solely on our behalf to operate the messaging program.

You can opt out of SMS messages from Cosette AI at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize returning visitors and measure site usage. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies will not break the site.

Service providers

A few service providers help us operate this site and our messaging program. They process limited data on our behalf:

  • Twilio for sending and receiving SMS messages.
  • Google Analytics for usage analytics.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting the site.
  • Postmark for handling contact form messages.

These providers only receive the data needed to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing or any purpose other than providing services to Cosette AI. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data retention

We keep SMS consent records and opt-out history for as long as you are subscribed and as long as needed afterward to honor your preferences and meet legal and carrier compliance requirements. We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any reasonable follow up, then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.

How your information is protected

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can:

  • Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
  • Decline to submit any form on this site (all forms are optional, and SMS consent is not a condition of any purchase).
  • Opt out of analytics tracking using the tools described above.
  • Email cosette@cosette.app to ask what information we have about you, or to request that we correct or delete it.

Children’s privacy

This site and our SMS program are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

This site may link to external sites or third-party tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
